We would like to introduce ourselves to you. Our company is Regional Home Inspection Services of New Jersey and we specialize in inspecting residential, shoreline and commercial properties. We are a family owned business and have been doing inspections in all of South Jersey since 1984. We are licensed by the State of New Jersey and are long-standing members of A.S.H.I. (American Society of Home Inspectors). We have our commercial pest applicator licensed and our radon measurement technician license in the State of New Jersey.
We produce a 25-30 page report of the inspection. The majority of the report addresses different elements of the dwelling while the last few pages identify the Standards of Practice we follow which are recognized by A.S.H.I. and the State of New Jersey. The elements of the dwelling examined in a standard inspection include the structure, foundation, roofing, exterior, interior, basement, attic, crawl space, insulation/ventilation, heating and air conditioning systems, electrical system, plumbing system and most appliances. Our report is not solely a checklist, but an easily read, combination narrative and identification-style report. We believe this is more beneficial in understanding the condition of the dwelling. We take pride in saying that our report is timely, detailed, readable and thorough.
Our policy is to produce and email/mail the report the business day following the inspection as well as encourage the prospective buyer to be present at the inspection. We know these are two very important factors in helping make a successful and manageable “sale” possible. We usually schedule inspections Monday through Friday, but also offer inspections on Saturdays if needed. We can usually schedule you within 24 hours.
In addition to the standard dwelling inspection, we also offer commercial inspections, structural inspections only, partial inspections, inspections at different phases of new construction, and radon testing. We are licensed radon measurement technicians for the State of New Jersey, licensed pesticide applicator, and are fully covered with Errors and Omissions Insurance, which carries the real estate agent rider. m your About section.
